AI-Powered Analysis & Third-Party Data Sharing
Spottr uses artificial intelligence to analyze your exercise form. When you submit a video for analysis, the following occurs:
What is sent: Selected video frames and pose estimation data extracted from your recording are sent to Google via the Gemini API, a third-party AI service, for form analysis and feedback generation.
Who receives it: Google LLC receives this data through their Gemini API. Google processes this data according to their Gemini API Terms of Service.
Purpose: To provide detailed, personalized feedback on your exercise technique, identify areas for improvement, and track your form quality over time.
Data retention: Your original videos are stored securely on our servers (AWS S3). Analysis results are stored in our database. Google does not retain your data for model training when accessed through the Gemini API.
Your control:You are asked for consent before your first analysis. You can delete all your data at any time from the app's Settings screen.
Data Storage and Security
Your videos and data are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for secure cloud storage. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

Clerk: Receives your email address and authentication credentials for account management.

RevenueCat: Processes subscription purchase information for in-app purchases.
Sentry: Receives anonymized error and crash reports to help us improve app stability.
Each of these providers is contractually obligated to protect your data and only use it for the purposes described above.

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
