Getting Started

How do I record a workout video?

Tap the camera icon in the bottom navigation bar to open the camera. Position your phone to capture your full body during the exercise, then tap the record button to start recording.

How does form analysis work?

After you record and upload a video, our AI analyzes your movement patterns and provides feedback on your form, including areas for improvement and what you're doing well.

What exercises does Spottr support?

Spottr can analyze a wide range of exercises including squats, deadlifts, bench press, overhead press, rows, pull-ups, lunges, and many more.

Tips for Best Results

  • Good lighting: Record in a well-lit area for better analysis
  • Full body visible: Position the camera to capture your entire body throughout the movement
  • Stable camera: Use a tripod or prop your phone against something stable
  • Side angle: For most exercises, a side view provides the best analysis
  • Multiple reps: Record 3-5 reps for more accurate feedback

How do I delete a video?

Go to your Library, find the video you want to delete, and tap the delete option.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your Profile tab and scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Is my data secure?

Yes, your videos and data are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Can I use Spottr offline?

You can view previously loaded data offline, but recording and analyzing new videos requires an internet connection.

Camera not working?

Make sure you've granted camera and microphone permissions to Spottr in your device settings.

Check your internet connection and try again. If the issue persists, try recording a shorter video or restarting the app.

Analysis taking too long?

Video analysis typically takes 30-60 seconds. If it's taking longer, check your internet connection.
